New Release :   The new Fushitusha studio album is appearing at overseas distributors.    (Forced Exposure, for one, is carrying it.)    The title is Origin's Hesitation, PSFD 8010.       Anyone who would like to submit a review of the album is welcome to do so at the Haino Reviews Database.

November 1, 2001
Forthcoming Release :   A new Fushitusha studio album will be released on PSF Records with a planned release date of November 25, 2001.    Originally the release was scheduled from summer 2001, but was delayed due to Haino's dissatisfaction with the first round of studio recordings, which have been scrapped entirely.    It is a duo recording (Haino and bassist Yasushi Ozawa), as per the recent live line-up, and apparently it has no guitar on it at all. Haino performs on voice and drum kit.

Forthcoming Release :   A new collaborative album featuring Keiji Haino and Tatsuya Yoshida (of RUINS & Musica Transonic) is scheduled for release on the label Noise Asia out of Hong Kong in November, 2001.    The album title is Until Water Grasps Flame.    It includes 12 tracks.

Forthcoming Release:   The Tzadik site indicates that a new album is to be released in July, 2001 in their NEW JAPAN SERIES, which will include Keiji Haino as a guest vocalist.    The title of the album is Utsuho and the musician is A Qui Avec Gabriel. Here is the blurb from the Tzadik site:    à qui avec Gabriel is a young accordion player steeped in French Romanticism and moody exotica. With the innocence and charm of Erik Satie, her debut recording Utsuho depicts the soul's journey from night until dawn, through day to dusk, visiting along the way dark storms, shining drops of light, cats, mysterious winds and galactic voices. Accompanied at times by violin, clarinet, piano and the eerie guitar and voice of Haino Keiji, Utsuho is a uniquely personal CD of lyrical beauty.
