Forthcoming Release:
The recording by Keiji Haino, Oren Ambarchi & Jim O'Rourke,
featuring the electric set from the same 2013 show from which the acoustic set was taken that appears on their earlier 2014 release
has been postponed until February, 2015. Furthermore, it will be a vinyl only release. A title is not yet known. Visuals: There was an all-night concert at Super Deluxe in Tokyo on October 17, 2014. Haino performed in a guitar/bass/drums trio that he explicitly stated was not a new Fushitsusha line-up but rather a one-night-only line-up. Nevertheless, the group was billed as Fushitsusha (the Haino Keiji trio), apparently for promotional purposes. Haino also played hurdy gurdy. Various records of this performance are listed below: |

New Addition to Discography:
There was a compilation titled, Ongaku 90 released in 2012 on the French label, Hiruko Records, that
contains a Fushitsusha track from Allegorical Misunderstanding. This compilation has been belatedly added
to the discography. It is of interest if only for the fact that this is the only way to get even a single track from
that absolutely under appreciated album on vinyl.

Forthcoming Release:
A new effort by the trio of Keiji Haino, Jim O'Rourke & Oren Ambarchi will be released coinciding with their gig
at Super Deluxe in Tokyo on March 17, 2014. The album is reported to contain a recording of the acoustic performance
from March 13, 2013. This release will appear as a limited edition vinyl and a normal edition cd.
This will be the fifth consecutive year that the trio have released an album in the spring. Since the previous four
were on Black Truffle Records, we can assume that this one will be as well, although there is no confirmation on this last point yet.
More details as they become available. Update: An unofficial translation of the title is

Discography Update:
Even though the new Sanhedrin cd and the 3xcd DJ Haino release have been out for over a month, I just now received my copies and have
finished entering the information into the discography.
Therefore, these entries have been moved from the forthcoming section to their respective sections.
The Sanhedrin entry is located in the "Collaborations" section of the Discography, with the previous Sanhedrin releases.
The 3xcd DJ release is located in the "Solo Studio" section of the Discography, since the liner notes explicitly state that it was recorded in a studio.
The previous 1xcd DJ release is located in the "Solo Live" section of the Discography, since I (perhaps erroneously) assumed that a DJ performance
would be recorded live at a club. Anyway, the distinction between the "Solo Studio" and "Solo Live" sections of the discography has been
clouded since the beginning of the site and the murkiness continues. At the present time, the only officially announced forthcoming release is the Haino & Masataka Fujikake duet due in February. Rumors of other forthcoming releases persist but are not confirmed. |

There were also four older releases that didn't make it into the discography until 2013. One of these is a bootleg.
