New Releases:
doubtmusic will release
two albums by the group Seijaku (Haino
with Mitsuru Nasuno on bass and Yoshimitsu Ichiraku on drums) on October 11, 2010.
The first release is titled Mail from Fushitsusha (dmf-136) and
the second release is titled You Should Prepare To Survive Through Even Anything Happens (dmf-137).
The release blurb describes them as blues, and says that they're paired releases that need to be heard together. (Sept 30) Added more information, including covers and tracklistings to the forthcoming releases section of the discography. Thanks to Jun Numata of doubtmusic. The release announcement from doubtmusic is located here. |

Live Dates:
Added a bunch of live dates for September, October and November.
The September dates include a return of Fushitusha on September 1, 2010.
The line up featured Haino with Tori Kudo on bass and Ikuro Takahashi returning on drums.
To my knowledge, this is the first Fushitsusha performance since the death of long-time Fushitsusha bassist,
Yasushi Ozawa, in early 2008. This is the first performance with Fushitsusha as a trio in a decade
(ignoring Haino/Ozawa duos and Haino solo shows,
as well as a couple shows mis-billed as Fushitsusha featuring Haino with western musicians).
Live Dates: On September 20, 2010 at the Ftarri Doubtmusic Festival, a new Haino group debuted. Going under the name Seijaku, the line up featured Haino with Mitsuru Nasuno (of Sanhedrin) on bass and Yoshimitsu Ichiraku on drums. Apparently, a release by this group is planned on doubtmusic for October, 2010. |
