9

  • title: Pathfinder Worldscape: Red Sonja (2017)
  • publisher: Dynamite
  • cover artist: Dan Schkade
  • writer: Erik Mona
  • artist: Jonathan Lau
  • issue: one-shot
  • release date: December, 2017
  • cover: Paizo Publishing retailer exclusive variant
  • commentary: The second batch of Pathfinder Worldscape comics was a set of four one-shots originally released as part of a Humble Bundle promotion and later available as four-packs directly from Paizo. Each one-shot had two covers, an A cover by Roberto Castro and a B variant by a different artist. This is the B variant to Pathfinder Worldscape: Red Sonja, in which Red Sonja teams up with King Rex and Cave Girl. The other three one-shots in this batch featured John Carter (Warlord of Mars), Tarzan (Lord of the Jungle) and Seltyiel (King of the Goblins). The A cover to Pathfinder Worldscape: Red Sonja is featured in the Dynamite Cross-Overs gallery.

10

  • title: Pathfinder Worldscape: Swords of Sorrow (2018)
  • publisher: Dynamite
  • cover artist: Roberto Castro
  • writer: Erik Mona
  • artist: Jonathan Lau
  • issue: one-shot
  • release date: April, 2018
  • cover: A cover
  • commentary: The third batch of Pathfinder Worldscape comics was a set of four one-shots originally released as part of another Humble Bundle promotion and later available as single issues directly from Dynamite. The covers to all four issues, including Pathfinder Worldscape: Swords of Sorrow, were drawn by Roberto Castro. This cover features the Traveller, as well as Dejah Thoris, Vampirella and Red Sonja. The other three issues in this batch included Dejah Thoris, Vampirella and Herbert West, Reanimator. In sharp contrast to the exceptionally strong story telling of the original Pathfinder comics, and the initial six-issue Pathfinder Worldscape series, these one-shots contained little if any narrative. Sadly, on this sour note, all Pathfinder comics ground to a halt.
