• commentary: Red Sonja often traveled through wilderness, where she encountered a variety of wild animals. Some of these beasts were motivated by primal instincts alone, while others were endowed with an additional malevolence at the hand of a sorcerous foe. We have already presented a gallery of covers feature Red Sonja battling snakes. In this gallery, we turn our attention to other animals. She waits warily for the pair of crocodiles to strike.
