A Red Sonja Cover Gallery III:
Tentacles

This is the third installment in our Red Sonja themed cover galleries, continuing from the first gallery. Below, we present ten selected covers from various comic books, which feature Red Sonja in the presence of tentacles. Beyond cephalopods, we may associate tentacles with the eldritch gods of H.P. Lovecraft. R.E. Howard exchanged letters with Lovecraft and, in his fiction, he referenced the mythos that Lovecraft spearheaded. As such, it is appropriate that tentacles play a recurring role in the adventures of Red Sonja.
