They pantomimed the grotesque rituals and recited the ancient words
"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."1
They belatedly recognized their error
in summoning Cthulhushroom from beyond time and space, only as they were eaten.
