News Updates From 2012:

December 16, 2012
A Year End Message
Looking back, 2012 has been an important year for the Poison Pie Publishing House, in which we have moved from an ambiguous presence lurking on the web to a proper publishing house, from which, believe it or not, books were offered for sale. We released ten books in 2012, seven novels and three illustrated stories. The novels were written over a course of twenty years from 1992 to 2012 in cities including Gainesville, FL, Kansas City, MO, Minneapolis, MN, Washington DC, Knoxville, TN and Seoul, Korea. The subjects of the books span the gamut from a survey of constellations to a novel of non-idiomatic improvisation to a modern adaptation of an H.P. Lovecraft novella, but all share a common theme of exploring the ways in which humans attempt to make sense of their place in the world.

As 2012 draws to a close, we look forward to 2013 in which we hope to reach our goal of twelve novels published in twelve months (September, 2012-August, 2013). Some of these novels are already written and sitting on hard drives for over a decade waiting to be resuscitated and others are not yet conceived.

Here at the Poison Pie Publishing House, we wish you all the best intentions for the upcoming new year.
