While America labors beneath the presidency of one who, on a daily basis, demeans the office, the nation and its citizens, each member of the country must act in that manner best suited to them to maintain the dignity of themselves and their community. The author chose to contribute to this cause by writing a passage on every day of this misbegotten term. The passages from 2017 are collected in the novel, The Year of the Every-Day Magician: A Second-Hand Account of the Rise and Fall of the Renegades of the American Muslim Registry. The passages from 2018 are collected in the novel, Piecemeal: Proceedings of the International Congress on Exploratory Meta-Living. In this work, we collect the passages from 2019, which constitute the third entry in the tetralogy.
To those who keep to themselves the observation that this effort is, at best, only tangentially relevant to the stated purpose, and more likely wholly inutile, a commendation for discretion should be given. No such sentiment needs be openly expressed; of course all parties are already too keenly aware of the relative significance or insignificance of the actions in which they are engaged and to which they have dedicated a non-negligible portion of their lives.
